Young Life is a non-denominational, Christian outreach ministry for high school kids and is located in all 50 states and 53 countries worldwide. Its mission is to introduce adolescents to Jesus Christ and help them grow in their faith.
This is done by sending volunteer leaders into the lives of high school kids. This past year, the 30 volunteer leaders in Baton Rouge spent around 9,000 hours in the football stands, at the mall, at school lunches...wherever kids are, in order to form lasting relationships.
Through these relationships, Young Life leaders are able to share the good news of Jesus Christ with a generation of teenagers that need hope and are searching for a deeper purpose in life.
